Public URL check
HTTPS checker
Enter a website URL to check the HTTPS connection, HTTP status, redirects, certificate signals, mixed content and security headers.
HTTPS connection check
Enter a website URL and URLCompass shows whether the page opens over HTTPS, which HTTP status the server returns and where the final URL lands after redirects.
HTTP, HTTPS and redirects
The report helps reveal whether HTTP redirects to HTTPS, whether the redirect chain changes the address unexpectedly and whether the page remains available only through an insecure protocol.
Certificate and mixed content
URLCompass shows TLS signals, HTTPS availability, mixed content and basic security headers that affect page trust.
When HTTPS is misconfigured
HTTPS problems can affect users, browsers and search engines. Site owners should fix the certificate, forced redirects, insecure forms and http resources.

FAQ
Common questions
Does URLCompass need access to the website admin area?
No. The report is built from public signals available by URL: HTML, headers, DNS, TLS, robots.txt and sitemap.xml.
Can it show exact traffic or private analytics?
No. Exact traffic requires analytics access or paid data sources. URLCompass intentionally separates public checks from private metrics.
What should I do after the report?
Start with failed checks and warnings: indexability, HTTPS/TLS, security headers, page speed, missing metadata and weak DNS/mail protection.
Which URLs can be checked?
Use public http or https pages. Localhost, private IP addresses and closed admin pages are blocked to keep the checker safe.
