URLCompass
How URLCompass works
URLCompass checks a public URL without website access and turns technical signals into a readable action plan.
Data sources
The service requests the public page and related resources: HTTP response and headers, HTML, DNS, TLS certificate, robots.txt, sitemap and RDAP. Selected tools also use URLhaus and PageSpeed Insights.
How URLCompass Score is calculated
The score is based on checks that were actually completed. Availability, HTTPS and indexability issues carry more weight than presentation recommendations. It is a prioritization aid, not a search engine metric.
Critical, recommended and information
Critical items may affect access, safety or indexing. Recommended items improve page quality and clarity. Information items explain detected facts without requiring a change.
Saved reports
Each check creates a private link with an unpredictable identifier. You can share it with a colleague; the report is kept for seven days and excluded from indexing. Run the check again for current data.
Limitations
URLCompass sees public data only. It cannot access analytics, Search Console, server logs or private áreas. The report does not replace a full crawl, application source review or manual security assessment.
